Mornin' Old Sport: Over The Moon & When The Bomb
Folk fans in the Bay Area have seen a windfall: Mornin' Old Sport, tune purveyors of both the old-timey and jazz era persuasion, have re-settled from their native Boston to East Oakland. I caught up with band member Scott Nanos in a recent East Bay Express profile, and we couldn't be happier to have their newly reinvigorated act gracing the warehouses, clubs, and outdoor spaces of our shores. Your Grandparents Will Jam To These Songs is the EP they released last year, and they have a full-fledged album in the works for this summer, when they'll also be embarking ona national tour. For now, bandcamp has it all.
